Congratulations to
MASSTARS
Level 7's at States
May 10-11 '08
This
year's Level 7 states was most likely the toughest of all the state
competitions held this year, with many very talented gymnasts found in
each age group.
The
MASSTARS
had some great performances,
and found their way to the podium in each age group in which they were
represented.
Special congratulations to Kelly, a state champion on Vault.

Level 5's at 2008 State Championships!
May 3-4, 2008
The Level 5
MASSTARS
capped an outstanding season with a strong showing at the State Meet held on May
3-4.
Molly C. Hannah, D., Sarah N., and Sonia P. gave notable performances,
with each achieving a personal best in the various events.
Teammate Fiona G. earned the State Champion title on the Floor
Exercise, Ripley B. earned the State Champion title on the Beam,
while Caitlin F. earned two State Championship titles: the Floor
Exercise and Beam.

Level 9's at States
April 5-6, 2008
Congratulations to All
of The Level 9
MASSTARS Who competed at States April 5 & 6:
Victoria, Danielle, Ari, Nikki and Lauren
ALL 5 gymnasts qualified to the
level 9 regionals competition at the end of April in Syracuse, NY -
and the team placed fourth.

job girls..and good luck at Regionals!

Level 4 Team First Place in the Medium Team Division at States
April 27, 2008
At Level 4
states, all of the
MASSTARS
competed in the child age division. All of the girls achieved personal
bests either in their all-around score, an individual event score, or
both. Event champions included Sophia on vault and floor, Audrey on
bars, and Alexa on beam. The All -Around champion was Sophia, who was
tied with Audrey, and was awarded the all around trophy based on the
tie-breaker. And, the team took home the first place banner in the
Medium-size team division!

Congratulations to

Level 6's at States
April 12-13, 2008
Our
three girls held their own against stiff competition.
Congrats to Amy - a Vault and Beam
champion and to Sierra who was also a
vaulting champ!
Kudos to Michaela, who after a week-long
battle with the flu, was able to compete and place in several events!

Congratulations to

Level 8's at 2008 Regional Championships!
May 3-4, 2008
ALL 3 gymnasts qualified for the
level 8 Regionals Championship May 3-4 at the University of Rhode
Island, Kingston, RI - but unfortunately, due to injuries,
Gabriela was not able to compete this year :-(
Tatiana Winkelman won 2nd on Beam,
8th on Floor and 11th
"All
Around" in the Junior Regional Meet on Saturday.
Claire Gerdes won 2nd on Bars in the All Stars Regional Meet on
Sunday.
Great job girls..WOO-HOO!
